The following is a guest post by Alli Miller This post will lead to your happily ever after. It won’t tell you how to get married though. It has exactly zero suggestions on a scientific algorithm for a godly man to pursue you. The top tips to begin a path towards a marriage relationship aren’t in here either. But it will tell you about the Man that completes you. Let’s begin with an assumption I’ve made about you. You already… Read more »

{Actually, it was never written, but that didn’t go with the alliteration. Please pardon me. ;) } . . . So I originally typed all of this to go in my “Three Years Later” post that will be published Thursday (a reflection upon this school year). But my Pageant reflections ended up way too long so figured I should just dedicate an entire post to my Pageant experience. Thus this post. So here we go…     Sometime during the… Read more »

The following is a guest post by Keagan of keagankcollective.com For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a “boyfriend.” In kindergarten, I had those sweet, innocent little boyfriends that don’t actually mean anything.  As I got older, I thought it made me cool to have a boyfriend, even though we couldn’t do anything other than eat lunch together. As I got to high school, boyfriends began to give me a sort of validation and made me feel powerful and… Read more »

As a forewarning, this isn’t a happy post. But it’s a hopeful post.  Also, it’s a loooonnnnggg post. If you don’t have time, but want to know the gist of what I’m about to say, it’s summed up on my About page.  . . . Today we’re taking a break from the usual routine and I’m going to write a very personal post, because, well, I need to. You see, five years ago today, my 18 year old cousin died… Read more »

Do you ever find that when you attend a wedding, you get a bucket-load of ideas for your own far-off wedding? Me too. For instance, when of my cousins got married when I was 16, Aunt Nita (not my cousin’s mom, a different aunt) asked me if I had thought about my future wedding at all. Flustered, I couldn’t say that I had. What sort of info was she looking for here?? As if she had read my thoughts, Aunt… Read more »

I think I was in sixth grade when I first prayed for this. I can’t remember if someone at church or at my Christian school had suggested it. But there I was, twelve years old, kneeling by my bed and praying for my crush’s future wife. It became a habit for about a month; I would pray for my crushes, pray for their futures, and pray for their future wives. Oddly enough, it wasn’t until a year later I started praying… Read more »

Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God. -Corrie ten Boom I’m graduating from University in eight months. Eight. The thought of this makes me want to laugh and cry all at the same time. My time in college has flown by, and it kinda makes me sad. The thing is though, people keep asking me what I’m going to do after I graduate. And people have asked me this question throughout my college-career, but I… Read more »

The following is a guest post by Kayla of The Accidental Nomad Life I was angry, I felt useless, pointless, directionless…I was questioning who I was, what my worth was, what my purpose for life was… I always thought I knew. I always thought that I’d end up playing this big, strong, female role – the one that can conquer everything and anything – no sweat. But here I was, empty, trying to figure out who I truly was. The… Read more »
