I recently finished reading Boycrazy: And how I ended up single and mostly sane by Tiffany Dawn a few weeks ago.

Guys, this book is amazing!

It’s as if Tiffany and I sat down and discussed life and boys over a frappuccino. Her story is so relatable and I felt as if I had gained a friend.

Let me back up a little bit and give you some background on this book :)

Boycrazy is Tiffany Dawn’s personal journey to finding contentment in Jesus and in singleness. She shares about the different dating and almost-dating relationships she has had since she was a teen and the lessons she learned along the way.

I believe every girl can relate to some part of this book.

An abusive relationship.
The struggle to be beautiful.
The oxymoron of wanting to be content while desiring a relationship.
Learning to be yourself and love yourself.
The heartbreak in realizing someone you like isn’t heading in the same direction as you.
Rejection.
Following your dreams.
Finding the perfect guy… who’s maybe too perfect.
Loving God above everything.

Boycrazy exceeded my expectations.

I thought it would be just another book about singleness. One that was pious and encouraged me to live a self-righteous, non-dating life.

This book wasn’t like that.

This book was a raw, personal story about Tiffany’s dating experiences and mistakes. Her heartbreaks. Her surrendering singleness to the only One who can fulfill her.

I loved being able to see how God guided Tiffany through each stage of her life, placing the puzzle pieces together and bringing her to where she is today- speaking to girls around the nation about beauty and God.
