What:
MEW is going to be a week of missional-themed guest posts.
These posts will cover aspects such as one’s personal mission experience(s) (be it in one’s native country or out of country), and why missions are important to the Christian faith.
When:
MEW is going to take place the week of May 15-21.
Where:
Here on Joy Because Grace! :)
Why:
Missions is an important part of our faith (and we will learn more about that during MEW). And I don’t know about you, but whenever I hear other people’s stories about their mission experiences, I always feel more motivated to go on a mission trip myself.
It’s also a good reminder that telling people about Jesus can’t fit into a one-size-fits-all mold. Each person’s experience with missions is unique. One doesn’t have to cross the ocean to tell people about Jesus, someone can tell someone else about Jesus right in their own neighborhood.
MEW will also give those who maybe haven’t had a place to share their mission-story an atmosphere to do so.
Who:
This is where you come in.
Have you gone on a mission trip before? Have you volunteered with a missions organization before? Packed an Operation Christmas Child shoe box or volunteered at a Vacation Bible School? Maybe you personally were impacted by missionaries at some point in your life?
I would like to welcome you to share your story during MEW! :)
You don’t need to be a life long missionary in order to participate. You don’t need to have left the country to participate. Age doesn’t matter. Denomination doesn’t matter.
All that matters is that we tell people about Jesus and if you have done that you have a story to tell- a missions testimony.

A great initiative! My husband served a foreign mission in Australia for a couple of years. I loved that he dedicated that time to learning about God before we met :)
