When You don’t move the mountains
I’m needing You to move
When You don’t part the waters
I wish I could walk through
When You don’t give the answers
As I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust
I will trust in You
“Trust in You” by Lauren Daigle

Lord, I praise You.

Your ways are not my ways, and neither are Your thoughts my thoughts.
You have a plan far bigger than I can ever imagine.

Lord, I praise you.

You rescued Joseph from slavery and gave Abraham a son.
You brought the Israelites out of Egypt by Your mighty hand.

You parted the Red Sea, and then the Jordan River.
You provided manna and quail in the desert,
And water from a rock.

You don’t give up on Your people,
Even though we are stiffed-necked and hard-headed.
Your mercies are new every morning
Your love never fails.

Lord, I praise You.

I praise You because You are so big and mighty and powerful.
You created the stars in the sky and You know them by name
And You know my name too.

You have a plan and a purpose behind everything.
Nothing is a mystery to you.

Lord, I praise you.

You create each season and make each of them beautiful in their own way,
Even when we’d rather see the weeds instead of the flowers
You make all things beautiful in their time.
You create order out of chaos.

Lord, I praise you.

You bless us beyond all measure
And beyond what we deserve.

You forgive us even when we mess up
Again and again and again.

You never give up on us,
Even when we give up on You.

You love us audaciously
And you quiet us with Your love.

Lord, I praise you.

I praise You because You made me beautiful
And my life beautiful
Even when I can only see the flaws.
Your works are marvelous, and I know this full well.

I praise you even when this life doesn’t make sense,
Because You can make sense of it.

Lord, I praise You

Lord, I praise you.

You are the King of kings
And the Lord of lords.

You spoke, and the world came to be.
You whisper, and the heart of man stirs.

You give and you take away.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Lord, I praise you.

You know the number of hairs I have on my head.
You know the design of my thumb print.

You know my secret thoughts,
My hopes and dreams.

You protect me in the shadow of Your wings.
You are my hiding place.

Lord, I praise You.

You have promised to always provide
And I know this to be true.

You provided a gazillion loaves and fishies
(Enough to feed a crowd the size of my whole university),
From just a little boy’s meal.

I know You will take care of me too
Even though I can’t see how right now.
You have a plan and a purpose for all of this.

And so I praise You.

I praise You with a willing heart
And open hands.

Because You are good,
And Your mercies never fail.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly
than all we could hope for or think,
To Him be all glory and honor and power,
Forever and ever, Amen!

This is so beautiful Kara. We do have so much to praise GOD for. If we had 10 thousand tongues we could never thank him enough. Be blessed. Continue your ministry to lift up others.
