Wanted to wish you a very merry Christmas! I hope y’all have a wonderful day celebrating the birth of our Savior. This is the last 12 days of Christmas post. I must say that blogging every day has been a challenge. Fun, but a challenge nonetheless.Today is filled with relaxing with my family. My grandparents and two of my cousins drove in today, and the rest of my mom’s side of the family is coming in tomorrow. Yesterday we visited my dad’s parents in the nursing home. It was good to see them.
Later today we might go see a movie. I’m not sure yet. I’ve been wanting to see the new Annie and Into the Woods came out today. We saw The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies this past weekend. It was really good!I baked a bunch of cookies yesterday. I baked peanut butter cookies and sugar cookies. The peanut butter ones were from a mix, but I made the sugar cookies from scratch. They turned out to be the best sugar cookies I have ever made! They’re soft in the middle, and they retained their cookie-cutter shapes instead of turning into blobs. The recipe came from sallysbakingaddiction.com and here’s the recipe. I 100% recommend it.That’s about it for now. I hope you have a terrific Christmas and a great holiday season!
